MENTAL STATE


Mental State: Is an exploration of the cerebral stability of the creative mind. This collection delves into the self-perceptions that have affected my design work, especially struggles with depression anxiety, and self-doubt. The silhouettes are both restrictive and overwhelming, reflecting the impact of these emotions.


MEMORY


Memory: nostalgia is the driving force behind many of my concepts. It can be found in most of my work. “Memory” explores my favorite childhood moments, wrapping myself in quilts that my grandmother had made. They are warm and comforting and, to me, quilts are like people. They are made of similar fabric or DNA. However, depending on the colors, prints and patterns used, no two quilts are alike. Even within these happy memories, our current socio economic reality creeps in and obscures the optimism
